We’re excited about our upcoming Holiday Cocktail Mixer this Thursday evening, December 3rd from 5:00pm until 8:00. We invite you to join us at Papapavlos Restaurant. Remember how great the food was last year? It should be even greater this year. Let’s eat, drink, and be merry together on December 3rd. There is no charge, and please bring a guest if you are a member.

Our November meeting was very well attended and proved very informative and interesting with our guest speaker’s presentation. Thank you to John Vigallon, of Kellco-Macs, for bringing his insightful perspective and knowledge to the group regarding the dangers of dealing with meth labs.

We did manage to work in our annual election of officers and board of directors at the beginning of this meeting. My appreciation to everyone who has served this year, including our departing Treasurer, Steve Wenograd. Steve has agreed to help out on the golf tournament which was a terrific success due to the efforts of many people especially Steven and Deena, last year.

Our thanks to Deena Lucero, of ServiceMaster of Stockton, for agreeing to take-on the Treasurer’s role for 2010. My appreciation to our continuing officers: Vice President Barbara Hall, of Marine Claims; and Secretary Gaye Bishop, of Royalty Restoration. Our Board of Directors will be welcoming the addition of longtime investigator, Bob Bishop, along with returning members: Sherry Wenograd; Magda Calderara; Don Wood; and John Tucker.

Our “Toys For Tots” campaign last year was a huge success. As an organization, everybody really stepped up to the plate. Sherry and I felt very privileged to deliver the toys directly to military personnel in Antioch. The appreciation from the Marines was overwhelming. We hope and plan to do the same this year, so please consider bringing an unwrapped new toy when you come to the December 3rd Mixer. This is not mandatory but will be so appreciated.

Looking forward to seeing all at the December 3rd party.

Happy Holidays to all,

Marvin Wenograd
