Keeping Current to Improve Job Performance We are all feeling the effects of the tough times our economy is experiencing. During times like these, I believe it is important that we make sure that we are doing our best in our chosen professions, whether we are managers, claims handlers, or supporting service providers for the claims industry. In keeping with that thought, we are having our Certification Class on March 20th. It is essential that all of us be there, as Mark Berry of Mayall, Hurley, Knutsen, Smith & Green presents this Certification Class and then presents those of us in attendance with our certificates. The more education we have as claims people, the better we can perform our respective jobs. Therefore, it is the goal of the Mid Valley Claims Association to provide each and every one of you with as many educational opportunities as we can. We hope to have as our guest speakers more attorneys, doctors, forensic engineers, reconstruction experts and other well credentialed individuals from various parts of our industry to speak to us at our luncheons throughout the year. In addition, we are working on a mission statement as previously reported. Any suggestions, as to your vision of the mission of the MVCA would always be welcomed and considered. The Mid Valley Claims Association is there for all of you. We need your input to know how we can best serve you. Feel free to call any board member or send an e-mail to any of us with your input. We welcome that input. We look forward to seeing all of you on March 20th. Marvin Wenograd |
