Mr. Rogers gave a very thorough presentation, including helpful artist renderings of how and where the vessel will live. Two other cities are in the running: San Francisco and Vallejo - but according to Mr. Rogers the Stockton plan leads the way. The floating museum is projected to bring big revenue to the City of Stockton, as well as many jobs. A decision is expected in 2007.
